Kroombit Park Lochenbar Station - catering for the education sector since 1994 Catering for Local and International Students and Groups of all ages     The Sandilands family and staff provide a friendly family atmosphere at their nature based park, set amidst five acres of native trees on Lochenbar Cattle Station.  There is a large camping area for tents as well as an affordable bush cabin section. For the more adventurous abseil down a tower built around the trunk of a Blue Gum Tree or try out the Ropes Course. Learn to crack a whip and throw a boomerang.  Feed the farm animals and learn about the alternative farm industries or cool off in the swimming pool. Be entertained in our unique style hall with Australian Bush dancing and entertainer or join in a sing a long around the campfire. As well as activities on the cattle station, Kroombit provide guided area tours to local places of interest such as 'the Silo' a local Primary Industry Exhibition, Callide Power Station and Calide Mine, Callide Mine Lookout, Callide Dam and Mt Scoria.  Aquaculture farming where you are able to sample the local red claw is also very popular.  There are many other places of interest to visit.
